MetLife Foundation, established in 1976 by MetLife Insurance Company, has been involved in a variety of initiatives related to the issue of aging. Since 1986, the Foundation has supported research on Alzheimer's disease through the MetLife Foundation Awards for Medical Research program and has contributed over $7 million to efforts to find a cure. In addition, the Foundation has provided support for a new traveling exhibit on memory, an Alzheimer's Association public education video for use by caregivers and families of persons with Alzheimer's disease and the distribution of the Association's quarterly newsletter. Archstone Foundation

The mission of the Archstone Foundation is to contribute toward the preparation of society in meeting the needs of an aging population. Their resources are used to promote the health and well being of the elderly, and help all generations plan for the aging process.
