Getting to San Francisco is easy from just about anywhere. And it is less expensive when you take advantage of the special savings offered for the Joint Conference. ASA and NCOA have arranged with United Airlines and Delta Airlines to provide a special discount for Joint Conference attendees: 10% off tickets purchased at least 60 days in advance; or 5% off super saver rates. Casto Travel has been selected as the official travel agency for the 2004 Joint Conference of The National Council on the Aging and the American Society on Aging. Rental Car Discounts: For attendees wanting the freedom of their own car, ASA and NCOA have arranged with Avis Rent-A-Car to provide discounted rates on all classes of cars. Reservations can be made online or directly with Avis at (800) 331-1600; refer to group discount #J063615. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONSThe cut off date to receive special discounts is March 16, 2004. Attendees should identify themselves with the "ASA-NCOA Joint Conference" when making their phone reservations. Note that one night's room and tax deposit will be required for each reservation. All conference activities will be held at the Headquarters Hotels, which are located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, across the street from each other.
