What drew you to the field of aging or gerontology?
This is going to sound corny, but being involved in the aging field allows me to give back to my grandparents.  I am blessed to have been positively influenced by all four of my grandparents in ways that I cannot begin to measure.  This is my way to say "Thank you" to them.

What is your specialty or area of interest?
Health issues for the Aging.  My specific areas of interest are in the development of Health IT solutions that allow seniors to stay in their homes comfortably, as well as solutions allowing seniors convenient and secure access to their medical records.

How do ASA's resources and education help you with your work?
ASA is where I turn to for information on the aging.  Both the resources the organization makes available as well as my colleagues and friends associated with ASA are invaluable sources of information & inspiration - especially as I work on my NVL project that is focusing on developing a PHR (personal health record) solution for the aging community.
