2010 Call for Nominations
Deadline for Submissions:
PURPOSE
The Mental Health and Aging Network (MHAN) of the American Society on Aging (ASA), is pleased to announce its Mental Health and Aging Awards recognizing outstanding programs and services in mental health and aging. In 2010, the Mental Health and Aging Award will be given to an outstanding professional who has demonstrated continued excellence in direct or indirect service to the mental health or dementia care of older adults and their families and who has had a profound and lasting impact on the mental health of older adults, through practice, teaching, research, advocacy or policy planning. The winner will be honored during the Mental Health and Aging Network Featured Day as part of the 2010 Aging in America Conference, to be held in Chicago, IL from March 15-19, 2010. Nominees must be members of the American Society on Aging. A nominee who is not currently an ASA member may join at www.asaging.org/join. Nominations may be made by ASA members and staff or by other professionals in the fields of mental health and dementia care. The nominee must be aware that an award nomination is being made on her or his behalf, and the nominee must have agreed to provider her or his resume or CV. Return to top of page CRITERIA
