- All American Society on Aging members in good standing may participate and are eligible to win. In order to be eligible to win the drawing, the referring member must be an active American Society on Aging member at the time the campaign ends (July 31, 2008). American Society on Aging staff are not eligible to participate in prizes but may recruit members.
- The campaign period runs from June 1 through July 31, 2008.
- All referral applications to the American Society on Aging member applications and membership dues must be received no later than July 31, 2008 to be counted.
- The drawing will be held on or before August 31, 2008 at the offices of the American Society on Aging.
- PRIZE: The winner’s name will be drawn to receive one complimentary conference registration, contributed by the American Society on Aging. 2nd place winner will receive one (1) night hotel stay (room and tax only) at Bally’s Las Vegas, contributed by the American Society on Aging. 3rd place will receive a $50 gift card to be determined.
- Your name will be entered into the drawing every time you recruit a new member. Regular members count as one entry, each student as two entries, and an organizational membership counts as three entries.
- The number of entries received determines the odds of winning.
- A new member is defined as an eligible individual who has not been a member of American Society on Aging for at least one year or more.
- To receive credit for sponsoring a new member, the recruiter’s/sponsor’s name must appear on the “Referral” line of the membership application and dues must be paid in full at the time the application is submitted.
- Members participating in the campaign agree that the decisions and rules outlined by American Society on Aging are final and not open to challenge.
- Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for American Society on Aging to use winner’s name and likeness for advertising, promotional, and other purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
- By entering, participants release and hold harmless American Society on Aging directors, officers, employees and agents, from any injuries, loss, damage or liability of any kind arising from or in connection with this campaign or acceptance or use of any prize won.
- The prize is not transferable.
- If the winner cannot or will not accept the prize, then the prize will be forfeited and/or awarded to an alternate winner.
- All US and non-US international, national, federal, state, and local laws apply.
