"The boomers have been a transformative generation since they began, just by their sheer numbers," commented demographer Leobardo Estrada, at the 2004 Joint Conference of the American Society on Aging and the National Council on the Aging in San Francisco in April. CREATIVE AGING The Kairos Dance Theater of Minneapolis, which includes performers from ages 8 to 90. The 2004 ASA-NCOA Joint Conference gave a special nod to the emerging place of the arts and creativity in the field of aging. Both the conference opening session and a special "Art of Aging" program spotlighted the superb performers who represent the aging spirit around the United States. Full story.
