C.A.R.E.-Pro is a cooperative agreement between the American Society on Aging and the following organizations:

• the American Nurses Association,
• the American Occupational Therapy Association, and
• the National Association of Social Workers

Funded by the Administration on Aging, it serves to increase the skills and knowledge of those who are providing support for family caregivers. As part of this project, ASA and its organizational partners have developed a series of Web- and audio-based seminars on meeting the needs of family caregivers. In addition, we are currently developing an e-learning curriculum to provide self-paced continuing education to these professional groups, which will also address the needs of family caregivers.
