Introduction (Cont'd)

Questions

The kind of question you ask in an evaluation depends largely on the method you have chosen. For instance, a survey will include questions that are multiple-choice or require short answers (closed-ended questions). Questions asked in a focus group or interview, on the other hand, may require more elaborate, longer answers (open-ended questions).

Closed-ended Question Example:

  • How many times have you attended this program?

Open-ended Question Example:

  • What are your experiences with this program?
