Surveys of older adults reveal that religion and spirituality can be important resources for coping with the challenges and embracing the rewards of aging. In this issue, the authors discuss their own work at the intersection of research and practice and how professionals in aging can work more effectively with elders if they are open to their clients’ expressions of spirituality.
