Event Date:
08.18.2011 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Time Zone:
(GMT-06:00) Central Time
Short Description:

This web seminar will present a logical and understandable discussion of MRPs, including their causes and outcomes, and risk reduction.

Full Description:

While medications play a crucial role in the prevention, maintenance or cure of health conditions, they are frequently associated with medication-related problems (MRPs), including adverse reactions and interactions. Even when medications are used appropriately, the risk of MRP’s is greater in older than in younger adults, occurring whether the individual lives in assisted living, a nursing home or independently. This web seminar will present a logical and understandable discussion of MRPs, including their causes and outcomes, and will outline practical initiatives to reduce risk.
