Join HIP and experts in the field of aging in discussing the findings of HIP’s soon-to-be released report: The Latino Age Wave: Towards a Latino Aging Agenda!

The report is a follow up to HIP’s 2011 publication, “The Latino Age Wave” and explores the state of the Latino older adult population in the United States. Based on the findings of HIP’s recently-concluded California Latino Age Wave Initiative and the on-the-ground experience if its grantees, HIP’s report explores the challenges and opportunities facing Latino older adults and evaluates the capacity of the established infrastructure to meet the changing needs of this growing population. From cultural competency and service accessibility to best practices and opportunities for investment, this report briefing will provide a thorough analysis of, not only where Latino elders are today, but also how philanthropy and community-based organizations can be key players in supporting this vital and growing population.
