Limited access to healthy foods and environments, insufficient education, inadequate housing, exposure to violence and limited opportunities to earn a livable wage are some of the underlying risk factors that contribute to health disparities. This panel of experts will provide an overview of national and community approaches that promote and strive to achieve health equity and end health disparities.
