Financial, healthcare and end-of-life decisions are critical topics for all family caregivers and care recipients to consider, but most especially for LGBT family caregivers and their loved ones. Knowledge about available legal protections, the state-controlled limitations and how to avoid potential pitfalls is essential for aging network professionals who work with the LGBT community to ensure that they are on secure legal footing before the need arises.
