Proposal Deadline: January 25, 2002.

The Program Committee invites all individuals involved in family caregiving issues and programs—administrators, supervisors, clinicians, direct service providers, policymakers, planners, educators, advocates, and family caregivers themselves—to submit proposals.

The goal of the conference is to provide a forum for caregiving groups, advocates and policy makers from around the glode to exchange ideas on innovative and effective ways to empower and assist family caregivers. Presenters are encouraged to include the family caregiver perspective in their presentations. The reading of prepared papers is strongly discouraged.

Applicants should select the format and family caregiving situation most appropriate for the proposed presentation. The Program Committee will group proposals so that sessions are cross-cultural and models from different countries and disciplines can be compared.
