Presented by the American Society on Aging (ASA), the American Planning Association (APA) and AARP.

Thursday, March 29 | 9:45 AM–1:00 PM

Fee: $15 for AiA18 Conference attendees; $50 for one-day rate (includes coffee). Pre-registration is required.
CEU Credits: Approved for three American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification maintenance (CM) Credits.

Join us for the second annual Summit on Livable Communities for All Ages, which will present national expertise and promising practices, prototypes and successful projects that address acute local challenges in age-friendly domains such as housing, transportation, outdoor spaces and buildings, and community and health services. Building on the discussion and momentum started in 2017, planners and professionals in aging will come together to focus on further breaking down barriers and fostering collaboration among urban planners, aging network partners, and other professionals to advance livable communities for people of all ages and abilities.

This Summit will prioritize multi-stakeholder interaction through a “world café.” This strategic dialogue format will facilitate learning across generations and disciplines and allow participants to explore how best to transform policy and program ideas into practice.
