Apply to be a Volunteer

Once your application is reviewed, you will be notified by email regarding acceptance of your application and your schedule. If accepted as a volunteer for 2012 Aging in America Conference, you will have 10 days to register and pay for the conference at the volunteer rate. If you decide to withdraw your application after applying but before you have registered as a volunteer, please let us know immediately, so we can offer volunteer space to another qualified candidate.

You will be scheduled for the day you requested on your application where possible. Volunteers may request assignment to specific times but actual assignments may not match requests. If you decide to change your assigned date, please let us know immediately since we may not be able to accommodate changes in schedule. Please note that if you apply to be a volunteer, and register at the volunteer rate and accept an assignment schedule, we may not be able to accommodate a schedule change request from you. Individuals who register as volunteers but who are subsequently unable to carry out their assignment are not eligible for a refund of any part of their registration fee, so please be sure of your availability before accepting a volunteer assignment.
