Older adults experiencing homelessness are often a forgotten population. In this web seminar we will hear about the current framework for working with this population, explore the ways in which systems serving elders can work better together and discuss the funder’s role in ending and preventing homelessness for older adults.

Presenters:

Peggy Bailey is the director of Health Systems Integration at the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH), where she oversees efforts to ensure all residents of supportive housing have health insurance and access to insurance benefit packages that meet their needs. She joined CSH in 2009 after five years as the behavioral health policy and program analyst for the National Alliance to End Homelessness.

Nancy Sasaki is the executive director of Alliance Healthcare Foundation (AHF). Nancy sits on the San Diego Grantmakers (SDG) Board of Directors as well as the SDG Communications Committee, the Coming Home to Stay Working Group and chairs the Funders Together to End Homelessness–San Diego network.

She oversees capital, program, and operating grants to assist the organizations the foundation supports.
