During the progression of the disease, people with Parkinson’s may experience a variety of cognitive changes. How can care partners help their loved ones with Parkinson’s disease cope with such changes? Find tips by joining a one-hour online seminar led by the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation and Dr. Rebecca Gilbert.

Participants in this web seminar will be able to:

  • Understand the critical issues related to nutrition and Parkinson’s;
  • Identify strategies related to weight loss or weight gain in Parkinson’s; and,
  • Discuss the relationship between protein and Parkinson’s disease medications.

Rebecca Gilbert, M.D., Ph.D., is clinical associate professor of Neurology, Pathology and Psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center, and NYU Langone Parkinson’s & Movement Disorders Center. Dr. Gilbert is also involved in a variety of research studies on Parkinson’s.
