MindAlert

With generous funding from the MetLife Foundation, ASA’s MindAlert Program trains members on the newest findings in cognitive fitness, and disseminates information on current research and innovative programs that help older adults maintain and improve cognitive and mental function in their later years.

Now in its 14th year, the ASA-MetLife Foundation MindAlert Program expands the visibility of brain health through:

  • MindAlert Online Educational Programsoffering live and on-demand web seminars.. The list of presenters includes nationally recognized leaders in brain health and MindAlert Speakers Bureau faculty. Free CEUs are available!

  • The Summer 2011 issue of Generations, which focused on brain health and cognitive fitness in later life. It was inspired by ASA’s work with MindAlert, and based on demand from the field for more evidenced-based information.
  • The MindAlert Award, sponsored by ASA, recognizing innovative community-based, nonprofit programs based on research to maintain cognitive fitness in older adults.
