On Aging 2023 Health and Safety



ASA is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment at On Aging 2023.

Your health and safety are important to us. We are actively tracking the ongoing science around COVID-19. We are monitoring guidelines for health and safety measures from the Centers for Disease Control and will follow applicable federal, state and local laws at our conference.  We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta from March 2730, 2023.

Requirements for all attendees, exhibitors, volunteers & staff

  • At time of registration, all attendees will indicate their understanding that they will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC.
  • Everyone must show proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC.
  • Proof of being “Fully Vaccinated” may be provided in any of the following manners:
    • The original or a photo of your vaccination card
    • An app (Clear App or your state app if available)
    • A letter from your doctor stating the dates of your vaccinations
    • A screenshot from the vaccination provider showing your full name and dates of the vaccinations (i.e.: a pharmacy)


Before you leave home, ASA encourages attendees to:

  • Ensure you have your proof of vaccination documentation.
  • Be up-to-date with your COVID-19 vaccines, as defined by the CDC.
  • Get your flu shot.
  • Test for COVID-19.


What to expect at On Aging 2023 in Atlanta

  • Everyone must show proof of being fully vaccinated, as defined by the CDC, with a vaccine approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or World Health Organization (WHO). A list of approved vaccines can be found here.
  • If you begin to exhibit any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19, we encourage you to follow CDC guidelines. Please visit this site for Atlanta testing locations. Should you test positive while onsite, please inform ASA of your positive results.
  • While not onsite at the conference, attendees are encouraged to follow Hyatt Regency and local rules regarding mask and vaccine requirements set forth by the City of Atlanta.
  • Onsite catering and concession outlets, which are managed by the Hyatt Regency, will follow health and safety precautions as required by the city of Atlanta and the state of Georgia.
  • Hand sanitization stations will be placed throughout On Aging 2023 venues to encourage frequent hand sanitization.
  • Additional protocols may be put into place as deemed necessary by ASA.
