Simple home modifications can reduce accidents for older adults living at home. This webinar will outline the many ways that senior care professionals can help educate families about how to safeguard older adults living at home. A home safety checklist and affordable home fixes will also be detailed.

Presenters:
Molly Carpenter is an author, speaker, trainer and family caregiver, and brings years of personal and professional elder care experience and training to families dealing with dementia. Carpenter works with a team responsible for ensuring that the Home Instead Senior Care® network’s 60,000 caregivers worldwide have the resources necessary to effectively provide quality care in the home and understand the importance of their work enhancing the lives of those they serve. Carpenter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in family science with a gerontology specialization from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a master’s degree in education with a gerontology specialization from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
