The importance of proper nutrition for older adults cannot be understated. Poor nutrition can affect the mind, the body, the immune system and energy levels in ways older adults and their families may not be aware of.
The more families know about the aging factors that can affect eating habits, the easier it will be to ensure their older adult loved one maintains a healthy diet.
Join us for this month’s web seminar to learn more about healthy nutrition for older patients
Participants in this web seminar will be able to:
- Recognize the causes and warning signs of poor nutrition;
- Understand the nutritional guidelines for older adults;
- Identify the potential risks associated with lack of mealtime companionship; and,
- Recommend ways to manage specific dietary concerns.
